Authority of the Blood
The Authority of the Believer, Forgiveness & the Blood
3/9/06
The authority of the believer has been questioned in the court of heavens by the accuser. He, satan, hates Man to walk in the authority Christ purchased for Man. The evidence of Man’s authority is in the shed Blood of Jesus. Therefore satan has devised teachings which cause Man to handle his own sins over and over again, as if the Blood had no power. Man’s understanding of forgiveness becomes threadbare through this process. His preparation of God’s gospel becomes like tattered shoes that cannot take him down the road when God calls him. But the truth is that, just as God has the power to put a man’s sins under the Blood, so Man has this same power of forgiveness (John 20:23). Didn’t the Pharisees challenge Jesus in their hearts, wondering why He forgave sins (Lk5:21-24)? So satan still challenges God’s people about their forgiveness of sins.
Is the Blood of Jesus weak? Why do some utter prayers of continual repentance for their past sins? Will Jesus come and find faith, that His Blood is strong enough to cover sins? Will He find any who forgive their brother’s sins and believe them forgiven and under the Blood?
Man does not see that satan hates Jesus’ authority and the authority of the believer. If Man saw into the heavens, he would know that the minute he offered an acceptable sacrifice upon the altar of forgiveness and repentance, satan would challenge his sincerity. So like Cain, he seeks to slay the holy who offer the sacrifice of righteousness. Holiness is what God’s people are when they have separated themselves from their heart of flesh and become circumcised in the Spirit, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God.
A man of faith will repent and press on. He will overcome satan’s accusations by the Blood of the Lamb (Rev 12:11). With every accusation he hears, the man of faith will offer up this answer; “It is under the Blood”. And this is the confidence then of those who stand fast in faith and believe; their petitions will be heard (1 John 5:13-15). In this is a great victory; his prayers will even cause time and life to be granted to his brethren when he prays for their sins to be forgiven (1 Jn 5:16). Though the enemy meant Jesus’ death for defeat, God meant it for good, and empowered a whole body of people to stand in His place on the earth until He comes again. The evidence is in the Blood

The power of God
Power of God
7/2/06
If a man will be perfect in My sight he will do well. Many men think this is not possible. He knows not the power of Christ’s resurrection, that it is a living power in the life of the believer. That is why it is possible to say “Jesus Christ has come in the flesh”. Paul wanted to know the resurrection power of Christ (Phil 3:10,11), not just so that he would be resurrected, but so that he would have power over sin, the world, and the flesh in this life. He knew that is what would enable him to walk out his godly life amongst men, the only way he could accomplish it, and the only way he could have perfect fellowship with Me. Paul counted all things loss so that he could know Me (vs 8,9).
This perfect life is not impossible, but for many it is undesirable, so they set up road-blocks of unbelief which allow them to remain in the flesh, or partake of the world, and sin. Not so My Bride. My Bride hungers for intimacy with her lover, the Lord Jesus Christ, the spiritual caretaker of her soul and provider of her Life. She is symbolized as a people pursued by satan who wars against them because they have the testimony of Jesus Christ (Rev 12:17). But they overcome the devil by the Word of their testimony and the blood of the Lamb (vs 11). They believe in the testimony of the resurrection power of Christ, evidenced by Christ living in them. Their fellowship with Me is their reward.
It is the spirit of the world that teaches that a believer can have this resurrection power without laying their will down in submission to Mine. You see the spirit of the world prevalent in the worldly parents who give their children things which are inappropriate for their age and reward them irregardless of their behavior, as if the children have a right to be rewarded. But this is not the Spirit of Christ. All through the Word of God it is written that a man reaps what he sows, and that God is not mocked. And so those who will lay down their will and submit under My hand will come to know the resurrection power of the Christ.
It is the nature of the beast to teach men that they can manipulate Me and pray according to their pre-determined patterns. But a man must be submissive to stand in My presence and be received. A submissive man will receive the counsel of his God. These types of people will be called “The Healers of the People”. For it is not just the prayers that they offer which please Me; it is the right action which they petition Me for which brings My power upon the earth. In this way the people of the earth see My power in My people, and in the earth. Those who are submissive come to know My nature. In laying down their lives to know Me, in counting all things loss in order to know Me, they learn to know My burdens. These people, these Healers, carry My burdens with Me, for they value My issues above their own issues. They stand in My presence, and hear My voice.

Covered by the Blood of the Lamb
In Revelation 12 it is written that we overcome satan by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. The blood of the Lamb is that blood shed at Calvary. It’s the pardon of God on our sin-torn lives when we surrender our lives to God. This same blood continues on through our lives that we may come before the throne and ask for forgiveness for any future sins that we commit.
This blood of Jesus is strong, strong enough to purchase our souls from hell, strong enough to keep us from our enemy who is so hot and heavy on our heels. Satan has been cast out of heaven, that accuser who accuses the brethren night and day. He accuses us still on the earth. This is why we need the blood of the Lamb to cover us; satan still accuses us. We continually are bombarded with thoughts of guilt, shame, and remorse. If we take heed to satan berating us, we would stay in the dead works of repeated forgivenesses sought for those things which we have already been forgiven from, and repeated forgivenesses given, which we have formerly already given. His design is to keep us indebted to our guilt in order to render our faith in God impotent. When we are not the freed heirs of Christ, we are the impoverished indebted slaves of our enemy’s accusations.
We overcome satan by the blood of the Lamb, continually holding up to him our own forgiveness in response to his fierce arrows of slander and accusation. And the testimony, the wonderful testimony we speak is of the on-going works God does in and through our lives. For we believe the Holy Spirit which speaks that Jesus Christ has come in our flesh. Amen. This is his purpose, to stand in His Bride of Christ. This is His purpose, that His Body would be joined to His head and not shrink back in shame or the feeling of unworthiness. All who feel unworthy because of false guilt will think themselves humble, but the sad fruit they will bear is that they will not use their talents; they will bury their talents. Though they love their brethren and want to serve them, they will not walk in their God-given works to do so. But those who know that their sins are covered by the shed blood of Jesus and who walk in the Spirit are freed from the condemnation of the evil one, to serve God and bring Him glory.
It is satan’s design that in this hour God’s people would feel indebted to serve their guilt instead of serving God. Satan knows that we can set our brother free, forgive his sin, snatch him from the fires of hell. So the enemy accuses to us the brethren we have forgiven. His design is that we would find fault with the sacrifice of Jesus, whose blood covers our brother’s sins. His design is to render all people, including ourselves, unforgiven. Instead of being covered in the Blood which has the power of God to deliver us all from evil, satan covers us with guilt.
The accuser sets brother against brother, and families are torn apart. Some of you are going to find that the brethren treat you like damaged goods. They don’t choose you to serve along side of them. But we were told this would happen in the parable of the workers in the vineyard (Mt 20:7). Jesus is going to take the people rejected by man and say “You, come, serve Me”. Do not wait for a man to choose you, for you have been chosen in Christ before the world began (Eph 2:10). Go with Jesus into the harvest field He has chosen for you. If they find fault with you because of satan’s attack on your life, look to Jesus who is example of bad things happening to good people. The scriptures call this phenomenon a contradiction, for He was innocent (Heb 12:3). Remember also that satan chases the seed of the woman (Rev 12), those who have the spirit of Prophecy. He hates her seed for the very image they bear, and chases them to prevent their lives from bringing the kingdom of heaven down upon the earth. So this untidy and harassed life is common to those who will make way for the Kingdom of God to descend on the earth. Lift up the powerful blood of Jesus against your accuser, and testify of God’s mighty works. Amen.
