The Half Hour We Live In
2/7/06
This morning while in prayer I heard the Lord tell me that I didn’t really understand the times we are in. I remembered that He showed me the first trumpet preparing to sound. That was about 9 months ago. Here is what He shared with me this morning;
“Man thinks I will come back to judge him at his best. He thinks the Spirit will be flowing and he will reign victoriously. But this is the ½ hour of silence. This is that time when I have dried up the Great river Euphrates so that men might be tested by deception. For the love of man has grown cold, and each thought in his heart is for himself, even in some hearts in My kingdom. So my answers are slow, that the waiting would deepen his love. Though some will grow in love, some will not. For satan is gathering many to war against what they know to be the Truth. It is a wilderness, not a paradise. There is unfaithfulness in men’s hearts towards Me. It is a time of testing so severe that many are turning away in the great rebellion. Even those elect which have My great light in them would be lost if this continued. So I will cut it short.
This is a time that men have to be prepared for ahead of time, for it is silent in heaven. Those who are righteous will be holy, and those who are wicked will do evil. The hearts of men will either turn to Me, or away.
Is it any wonder that there are so many self-help books for men to read? Satan has led the hope of man down a path of self-perfection in order to frustrate and anger him. He hopes to turn My people away from their hope in Me, using their abundance of carefully planned works and words to sicken their hearts. For hope deferred makes the heart sick. But what a man believes he waits patiently for. And what a man hopes for he waits for. It isn’t the hope itself that is wrong, but whether a man hopes in what I will produce in him and his life and in the earth, or whether he will produce it from his own seeds. If he has tended to the seeds I planted in his heart, his hope will bear fruit unto eternal life. But if he seeks his own gain and walks according to his own understanding, his hopes will be frustrated and he will call Me evil.
So it is a time to encourage and strengthen your brethren. Do not desire any man to fail, but intercede on behalf of all men, for the days are full of evil. Worship Me with all your heart for in this is safety."
