the Spirit of Prophecy

*Spirit of Prophecy
11-26-06

Man cannot approach Me with his good works, but with obedience to My Words and faith in Me, he can come. I reward all who seek Me and believe that I am.

When Adam and Eve fell in the garden of Eden, cherubim were placed at the East entrance with flashing swords to guard the entrance to the Tree of Life[1]. This was because Adam and Eve had eaten of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and Man cannot mix his knowledge of good and evil with obedience to My voice. Man cannot, by his own choosing, choose what he thinks good is, and follow that good, and please Me. There will come times in a man’s life that what I speak may seem contrary to what he thinks is good. So Man must come to know that I alone am good, and my voice proceeds from that goodness.

The two cherubim guarding the entrance to the tree of Life were symbolized later on top of the ark of the Covenant, and Moses heard My voice speak from there[2]. The entrance to Life was preserved for Man, as was My voice. I still speak to My people above the testament, where My throne is[3]. I, Jesus, by My Spirit testify to My Father’s Words. This is called the Spirit of Prophecy[4]. I am seated there on My Father’s throne, between the cherubim, inviting you to overcome and sit down with me[5].
