our faithfulness

This morning's prophecy is from 8-16-05. Yet the Lord is pointing out a message today which is the same; faithfulness on our part. God bless you as you read.

Marrying Strange Wives

What is the purpose of keeping yourself pure, unspotted from the world?[1] Why should you hate the garment spotted by the flesh?[2] If you are one-flesh with the one you marry, then spiritually, you are one with those things you hold as true.

In Ezra’s time, men took foreign wives. These defiled their faith. It was a rebellion against my Word to keep themselves separate from foreigners. To be restored to Me, they put away their foreign wives, repenting of their unfaithfulness to Me[3]. This is a type or representation of what I require spiritually. There is a spiritual faithfulness which is compromised when a believer marries themselves to the world[4]. The defilement is evident, for their tree bears bad fruit.

A ministry that marries the world will eventually find itself without the protection of God. Before the work on the wall, the mixed marriages were dissolved. So, before the spiritual protection around a ministry can be restored, the people themselves have to cleanse themselves from their marriage with the world. In clearing yourselves comes a deep desire to have the Word of the Lord guide you, be your lamp, and the strong tower you run to.

You have been severely tested in finances. There is a market-mentality which is popular with many churches, which defiles the Word and robs the cross of it’s power. This temptation has set it’s foot on this campus in the form of light, and wisdom. But it is a breach in your wall. For those who market wares from My churches will also traffic in souls[5]. The fruit they seek will be gone, the voice of the Bride and the Bridegroom, and all the splendor of what man has built in My name will sink to the depths of the sea in one day. Why? Because those who follow the practices of the world mistreat the servants of God[6]. Because they wed themselves to carnal thinking, they become offended at the spiritual[7] and leave their ministries unprotected from the enemy’s attacks.

The weapons of your warfare are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds, abolishing every argument which exalts itself against the knowledge of God[8]. The Word of God is a powerful weapon, able to rescue, deliver, and defend.
The Word of God bears witness even in the hearts of those who have strayed, saying “you are right!”[9] It is a powerful two-edged sword. It is by the words of My mouth that I war against those in error so that I might restore them[10]. Separate yourselves unto Me. Write papers of divorcement, undoing those things which the world does to support and promote itself. Let me take you from the confusion of towers of Babel[11] to the sound thinking of My fortress within you. For you are strong. You are rich. You are appointed to a rulership which all Christiandom is seeking; the kingdom of God. Be a leader. Set an example for those who are watching to see. The Bride must prepare herself[12], and then I will come.
