9/18/05 Prophecy Our works are like concrete

The works of Man, done in the will of God, overcome satan. Our works declare our righteousness. It is like concrete; our works of faith are the cement, the pebbles are the words of God, and the water is God’s Spirit. Without our righteousness being added to the pebbles through works, the water does not cause them to set up.

Man has not wanted his works to be set in stone. If a man even writes his name in wet cement, it is visible all to see. But My (God’s) works are carved in stone. My righteousness and My words are set to form stone.

Without the righteousness of Man, Man has only words. The tests of their faith will prove them reluctant, shrinking back[1] from commitment and sacrifice. Some have concrete without the rocks, doing their own works without the Word of God. Their works will crumble like improperly made concrete. Just like My works declare My righteousness, so the works of Man declare his righteousness.
