Satan’s Deception
11/15/05 dream
Two nights ago the Lord gave me a dream in which I saw that the whole sky was full of the beginnings of spiritual warfare. Dave & I prayed about this, asking the Lord how to prepare. Last night during prayer, the Lord gave me this vision;
I saw calm water, then a black stick went into it. The Lord said “Do you see the black stick?” I said “Yes, Lord. Why is it in the peaceful water?” He said “Satan is calling his monsters from the deep.” I said “How can they be there when the water is so calm?” I saw the monsters, demons of various forms, under the waves. The Lord said “It’s a secret” and I saw the deceit of satan, to trick men into believing in peace when he was bringing war. Then the Lord said “I will expose him” and before the monsters could arise from the deep, the Lord made a mighty wind blow the water away. And this is how He revealed the plan of the enemy.
What a glorious God! To reveal the plans of our enemy so that we would know how to pray! Surely He intends victory for His people. This calls for faith, more faith than before. Yet, our God does not speak of doom without prophesying parting the heavens for His people (Ps 18). He is teaching our hands to war, and we will bring glory to His name through our victories. Amen.
