Vision of Warrior & Generations
Vision 7/31/06
I saw Native American warriors with their head-dresses on, and the chief had a long head-dress with his spear in the ground. Then he bent his knee to the Lord. There came a Nordic warrior, a Viking, who stood next to him, and as he bent his knee he threw his stone (which was used in war) onto the ground with a tremendous thud. Others, from other nations of their time period, came and bowed their knees, throwing their ancient weapons (maces, hatchets, spears and swords) into the ground. The ground kept shaking. Angels came from the sky and swooped down in front of this line of warriors, and when they ascended another group of warriors from the next time period began. Again I saw them throw their weapons into the ground, causing a great shaking. The angels came again, and this scene repeated many times. I became aware that the Lord’s voice was speaking, saying “Their blood has gone into the earth, and their voices live on. Although they are dead, the Word of God never dies”. I was seeing some of the cloud of witnesses who had stood, warred, and died for the Faith so that it might come down to us through the generations. Each one left his mark with his weapon, causing the earth to enter into the birth pains which will deliver the sons of God.

Then I saw a man plowing a deep furrow in front of the warriors, as if a line of demarcation. On the other side of the furrow seed was scattered and grew up into a thick harvest of wheat. I was given the understanding that this was to be the harvest of the righteous, and that it had come down to this time for the righteous not only to stand on the Word of God and defend it, but for them to do God’s works of glory. This was the end of the vision.

I want to put this vision in perspective for you by sharing a previous vision about the cloud of witnesses. When Dave & I were in Japan the Lord gave me a vision about the Christians who had died giving their lives for the gospel to come to the Japanese. I saw angels pulling a sack by a golden cord into a room. The sack was full of their souls, weeping and howling. These sounds literally came out my mouth during the vision. The angels were Japanese, but spoke in English, saying that it was now time for salvation to come to Japan. This was the end of the vision.

There appears to be a direct link between the work of the saints in times gone by, and the work appointed to us in this time. They thought the Word of God worth preserving, at the cost of their lives, so that we would carry on the Light to the end of the earth, and to the end of time. Without them, we are not complete.

Since the Lord showed me warriors I believe spiritual warfare is being underlined at this point in our history-making. The compromising spirit of the world will cause people to slumber. Yet the pure Word of God will make them hungry. It seems to be true that if we don’t have anything we believe is worth dieing for, then we will compromise. Yet there is a great inheritance not only appointed to us, but living in us. His riches are waiting to be found out (Eph 1:17-19). The ability to overcome, and to stand in our land of promise comes by His power working in us. He is of great worth, as is all He has for this generation.

I am inspired by these visions and grateful to those who paid such a price for our Faith. Thank you letting me share with you these things which so stir my heart. And God bless you in your faith as you walk out His purposes in your lives.
