When God fights against us

WHEN GOD FIGHTS AGAINST US
5/30/05
“I do not hate the clay I have made, but bend and shape it, forming it into the design My mind has imagined from the beginning of time. Though Man looks for a pattern, a mold, he will not find one. Instead, he will feel the pressure of My hands, guiding and fashioning his life into one that will hold My glory.
So I resist the proud, knowing it will mar the clay and cause the pot to be unusable. I bend the rebellious, forming a lip where he would make a spout. I hold back the unbelieving, not wanting to fire their clay and set them forever in a form that I do not recognize or receive. I set tight boundaries around the unmerciful and unforgiving, for their nature should yield to My hands, and they will be nothing without the flexibility of My nature, which is born in them. I assess each clump of clay for its use, and set a time when I can begin pouring my glory into its form. These are My thoughts. They are good thoughts. I hold out a future and hope for Man.
Man does not see My hands. Some think they will do what they want when they know when I want it. These men think they will answer to Me when they hear Me call their names. They think they will control their lives until the day I take over that control. The give and take of My hands on their lives seem as intrusions from every side. These people do not see that they are rebellious. They do not see that I oppose them for their own sake. They cannot serve Me as Master until they call Me Lord.
So I come when Man is not ready, in the night like a thief. I do not honor his programs, and do not dance to the melodies of his heart; for he is deceitful, serving himself and calling on My name at the same time. I will fight against him with the sword of My mouth. Why? To win him as my servant. Why? To ask him in to the wedding feast. Why? To bring him into the rest of the Father. Need you ask why? I love My people, and though I know the deceitfulness of the hearts of many, I do not throw them off the potter’s wheel. I apply pressure, I hold My hands steady under the fighting spirit of Man, and I tarry, that they will overcome, and stand in that day that I fire them in my kiln. I have a great glory to pour out on the earth, and then the end.”
