Resurrection Power

Resurrection Power
3-30-08

Christ’s crucifixion is the event that becomes the topic of every Easter sermon, followed by the glorious resurrection. Many agree with the scriptures that speak about Jesus suffering humiliation and shame, and a sense of abandonment by His Father in heaven. It has been pointed out that His disciples must have felt confused, for they were expecting Jesus to become an earthly ruler and surely were caught by surprise when He was arrested and later crucified. He even seemed to willingly go along with all the wrong accusations. This could easily have appeared as a victory for the enemy. We all know that, after His terrible crucifixion, Jesus descended into hell.

The question we might ask ourselves is, “What would I feel like, dying under those circumstances? Going to hell afterwards . . . would I feel I deserved it?” Looking at the circumstances in Jesus’ life . . . humiliation, shame, abandonment by God, loss of rulership and an apparent failure to bring prophecy to pass, triumph of evil . . . how would I feel in hell if I ended up there after this happened in my life?

We do not think of Jesus as being afraid or confused. The scriptures tell us that he lived a holy life, blameless before God. Did this knowledge help Jesus when He was on the cross? From His own words we know He felt abandoned by the Father He loved. Yet, on the cross Jesus exercised His authority to forgive the thief, appointing him to a better eternity. I believe Jesus always knew Who He was; God’s Son.

God asks us also to be crucified. He asks us to forgive. Our life becomes more of a parallel to Christ’s as we walk with Him. But do we know who we are in Him? As we stand forgiving others, do we stand as being also forgiven? Christ’s blood covers our confessed sins every time we pray, and we daily become blameless in Him.

We have an enemy who mocks us on our crosses, and draws us into thoughts of abandonment and defeat, shame and unbelief. Yet the resurrection power of Christ begins as we descend into hell, for in setting the captives free is the beginning of our greatest victory. It is like Paul and Silas, singing praises in jail -> giving the gifts of salvation to many. Paul and Silas knew they were sons of the Father through Jesus, even though circumstances suggested shame and defeat.

It is hard for us to suffer shame and feel abandoned . . . to suffer loss and be in a living hell is worse. It is hard to remember God has a purpose in all this. But if we will hold on to who we are, and who He is . . . if we will not let our enemy rob us of these 2 things . . . we will walk in His resurrection power and do great exploits. Jesus’ exploit was leading captivity captive, making a spectacle of satan, and giving gifts to men. He did not forget that God had a purpose for Him to accomplish. And it was accomplished after visiting hell.

Just like Jesus, our lives will parallel Him in rising from our hell in resurrection power. He leads us to triumph. (See 2 Cor 2:14-15). Let us remember who we are in Him, and that God’s power will be manifested in our lives to accomplish His purposes . . . even if circumstances seem to show us in defeat. Amen.

The Wedding; 5 bridesmaids not there

The Wedding; 5 bridesmaids not there
8/28/06
I was a wedding planner, and the guests had arrived in the church. There were 200 guests, and 10 bridesmaids. Only 5 showed up. I said “I wonder where the other 5 bridesmaids are?” Another person said “Are you sure 10 isn’t too much?” I assured him/her that there were supposed to be 10. End of dream.

Interpretation – Last night I had prayed for the Lord to show us fresh revelation, and about His will. This dream shows that the time of preparation in which we trim our lamps is drawing to a close. Yesterday the Lord had given me a lesson on how important preparation is, using the parable of the servant who labored in the field, only to come in and prepare supper for the Lord (Lk 17:8). Who is the Lord in this parable? We are the Lord’s body. We are to prepare the feast and feed our brethren. The Lord also said that “because people have so little faith, they do not believe the days draw to a serious conclusion. It is ‘business as usual’. If they knew, they would prepare. Only the Bride makes herself ready (Rev 19:7,8). She accompanies the Lord in His stand against those evil men who make war on Him and His Bride (Rev 19:14; see also Rev 17:14).

Signs & Wonders

Signs and Wonders
1/20/06
“Man looks for signs and wonders and has not seen many. Why? They are sent to verify the Word. If the Word is not pure, I do not verify it. All these teachings on faith, and faith is not the problem! If it were, I would convince My people of their need. But the problem is that My Word has been polluted by the understanding of Man.

In My former rain of the 50s, 60s, and early 70s man was fascinated with Me and My Holy Spirit. He emulated everything He knew about Me, and faith grew. But along with the wheat grew the tares. Along with My lessons grew false lessons from false teachers. And My Word became polluted. Some ask ‘Where is the God of our yesterdays?’ So frustrated is the church who seeks My manifest presence! Do I ask for louder prayers, as if I’m deaf? Do I count your numbers to see if enough want Me, as if I have an ego that needs to be massaged?

No, it only takes one. It only takes one person who seeks to know Me. And as I send that one to speak about what He has learned, signs and wonders will begin anew. The church has lost the significance of being a witness. What did you see Me do today? What did you hear Me say? Tell someone. Let the glory of the knowledge of the Lord cover the earth as the waters cover the seas. I am still the Great I Am.”

Master Builder & Orbiting Ministries

Master Builder and Orbiting Ministries
12/24/05 & 9/1/06
On 12/24/05 I had a dream where I sat with a lady who said “I had a dream, and you were in it. . . . pressing/flying through the ages . . . pick up the materials waiting . . . “ Then I awoke. The Lord told me it was time to collect the fruit, as in the parable of the Owner of the vineyard who sends His son to collect from the tenants (Mt 21:33). It is also as in Malachi, when God gathers His precious jewels and spares them from judgment (Mal 3:17). He gave me this Word of Prophecy;
“I, as the Master Builder, build with precious materials; My people who have prepared themselves. Now, in the fullness of time, I’ve come to gather those together who are not appointed to judgment. They will serve Me. That is the fruit I ask of the Church. But some want My people and their talents for themselves and their own selfish purposes. They are building their own kingdom and not Mine. So I will judge their ministries and take their jewels for Myself.”

Today, 9/9/06, the Lord reminded me of this and also the dream about orbiting ministries 9-1-06. Both refer to Malachi 3:17 where the Lord picks up His people. That dream is as follows;

I dreamt I was on a space craft with other people. Right away there was a fire in the right engine, and no one could get off. One lady said “Wouldn’t you know this would happen”. I had an understanding that the fire was due to another girl’s carelessness.

I could then see the space craft from the outside, with its engine on fire, falling. It landed in the front of a long line of cars, some dating back to the 1950’s, which were orbiting around a planet. I could see a city, instead of a planet, with its lights on in the darkness. A man came out from the city and flew to a car without any space craft. He got a child from one of the cars in the orbit line and took him back to the city. I could see other people from the city fly out towards the orbiting cars in the same way. The space craft’s fire had gone out and its people didn’t burn up. It remained in line as if the newest in a long line of vehicles. End

Interpretation – Space craft – a large ministry
Lady who started the fire – foolish virgin
Cars – individual ministries
Old cars dating back to the 50’s – a generation; mine
Orbiting – seeing but not entering in
City – City of God
Man from the City – a person with faith for flying. Sees those appointed to the City and takes them there, as do others.

Word of the Lord – It only takes one foolish person to put a ministry which is headed for God’s glory in orbit, to remain there indefinitely. All the wise planning of its leaders and the skills of those men and women of faith which enable the ministry to fly towards My City can be scuttled by one foolish person. I have given the mission of going to the City to many ministries which have failed. Indeed, if this generation had not seen some men and women who had landed in My City, there would be no one who would take it’s tales of glory back to the rest of My people in order that they might join them there.

I am separating the foolish virgins from the wise so that I will have a people who will see and enter in. It is this time, and it is the work I assigned to the Seed generation. The Seed generation was to tell those yet unborn about the City of God; those mighty and glorious works I do and am still doing. Those virgins who have not defiled themselves with the world and sin are waking from their slumber to find that some are prepared to answer the call, whereas others are not. Some have obeyed My voice and therefore have the oil of holiness. Others have procrastinated and been in unbelief, therefore they did not obey My voice. If a man does not do the works of obedience, he avoids having his works tested. But he will also have no oil in his lamp when he awakes. This is foolishness. There is no more time to go out and do those works of obedience for past words I spoke. In other words, as the wise virgins told the foolish, there is not time to give them the words again that they might begin the process of works, and testing.

Oil is the by-product of olives, which are a fruit, being crushed. If a man will not bear fruit, he cannot have oil. If a man bears fruit but will not be crushed through the trials I bring on him, he will not have oil. Only those who trust Me with all their life, laying their fruit down before the crushing machine, will have oil. These value the things of God. Foolishness is not valuing the things of God, but keeping one’s life intact, though believing. They will know there is a City of God, but will not enter in. Like the Israelites of old, who knew there was a promised land, but did not enter in. The preparation time is ending for the people of God to obey My voice. The Sabbath rest is here. It is a time of magnificence in which My people who enter in will sup with Me at a feast. I will serve them the rarest of meats and finest of fruits. This is spiritually speaking. But those who remain outside will grieve beyond grieving and say “If only I had listened . . . if only I had done what He asked . . . if only I had believed!”

Do not grieve for the foolish virgins who err in their judgment. Grieve for the many souls who are gotten off track of their projected destination; the City of God. I will call many out of churches and ministries in this hour so that they can arrive in the City and tell others of her glory.” Thus saith the Lord.

Healing, and putting all things under Jesus' feet

Healing, and Putting all things under Jesus’ feet
3-23-06
I would like to share a lesson from this morning with you. I had just woken up with the belief that satan deceives Christians into accepting afflictions, infirmities, calamities, etc. as part of God’s plan for their lives. The dream which brought this belief home to me was one where I was shown that the varicose veins I had was a design of the enemy. Though my veins are small potatoes compared to the afflictions many have, I still pray to have God’s healing. The lesson the Lord gave me when awake is as follows;

There is a parallel to the warfare we are experiencing which deals with such enemies as sickness. This parallel is found in the wars appointed to the children of Israel upon entering the promised land. Moses received a covenant from the Lord which told the Israelites not to let any of their enemies remain. They were not to co-habitate with the Canaanites (Ex 34:10-16). They were not to make a treaty with them, but break down all their altars, and God would drive the enemies out of the land. If the Israelites did not obey the Lord in doing this, their enemies would become a snare to them, eventually leading the Israelites to prostitute themselves to the gods of their enemies.

One of the consequences of co-habitating with our enemies is that we begin to look for the good in them. This leads us dangerously close to calling what is evil good (Is 5:20). We can form a belief system which looks for evil circumstances to form us into the image of Christ, and eventually to believe this is God’s perfect will for our lives. If so, why the sacrifice of Jesus? Though God does work all things to our good, He does not intend us to believe that all things are His perfect plan.

The Israelites had great success in routing their enemies at first. But when Joshua was preparing to die, he asked the remaining tribes who had not pursued their enemies “How long will you wait before you begin to take possession of the land . . . the Lord has given you?”(Josh 18:3). He encouraged them, saying that their strength was such that “One of you routs a thousand because the Lord your God fights for you” (Josh 23;10). However, he also warned them that the Lord would not rout their enemies, but would leave them in the land, if the Israelites did not obey Him and fight. This eventually happened, and God stopped driving their enemies out. They had made covenants with their enemies (Jud 2:1-3), which resulted in thorns in their sides, and snares.

This story from the book of Joshua parallels the Church taking the kingdoms of the world, which include darkness, infirmity, and calamity. We are to make them the kingdoms of our Lord. God put the works of His hands under Man’s feet (Ps 8:6). Jesus gave us authority over sickness, demons, and more. The issue that He seems to be addressing is compromise; How long will we wait until we take possession of the land?

Jesus is about the business of putting every kingdom in heaven and on earth under His feet (1 Cor 15:27). Lest some think He does this off by Himself somewhere, let us consider the authorities and the gifts He has given us, and that they are for much more than forming us into His image. We are His body, His hands and feet on the earth. He still works through His people.

In Rev 11:15-17 we read about that triumphant moment when the kingdoms of this earth become the kingdoms of the Lord. He has put everything in subjection to Himself so that He may present it all to the Father. This is when the temple in heaven is opened and we see the arc of the covenant (vs 19). The original covenant of subduing the enemies of God and Man (Ex 34:10) is met in the final victory of Jesus and His Church.

Perhaps we have compromised in accepting things which satan has handed us, promising us that they will make us a better Christian. God left the enemies of Israel in the promised land to test them and see if they would obey Him. We have had a long season of testing, even seeing some of our dear saints die. I believe that the Lord will fight with us for our inheritance if we will stand against our enemies, not only in our lives, but for the lives of our brethren. I want to encourage you to develop your spiritual gifts in service to Him, and to stand, having done all. My hope is that His hand will move with healings, deliverances and miracles in our meetings. It is becoming more than hope . . . it is my expectation. Amen.

Towers of Babel

Towers of Babel; the Gifts of Prostitution
7/4/05
Those who build a tower to make a name for their self will have My hand of protection removed from them. Confusion will be on their minds, for they have become double-minded. Their gain has been worldly, and shall I accept the sacrifices in My temple from their prostitution? No, but I shall take their portion away. For those who build a name for themselves do not follow Me, nor do they give unto their fellow servants each one’s portion in due season. There is no one to appoint inheritances; and why? Because they make their ways pre-eminent!

I did not seek to exalt Myself, but pointed every man and woman to the Father. I was an example of the Father’s very nature, and that nature is in those who follow Me. Those who build towers of Babel do not believe that I judge, and by teaching others this error, they have caused many to stumble. So there is a famine of the Word of the Lord. The seers and the prophets who have prophesied blessings and forgiveness are presumptuous. Calamities occur and each one is treated as an isolated incident, unrelated to My sovereignty. The dead are eulogized as martyrs, and not grieved as those cut off before their time. I have held the souls of those early-departed, and grieve with them over the race not run. They have My comfort. They are with Me. But not by My hand. No longer will I suffer My elect to die early without a clear testimony of the calling which is therefore taken from the ministries they were appointed to. My body is ill, and uncared for. My body grieves, and has her wounds lightly dressed with sermons of peace and safety, when there is no peace and safety.

Surely there is a war already begun. It no longer looms on the horizon. Your enemy seeks to plunder and destroy, taking the naïve first, for they do not know how to pray as they ought. Please teach them for Me. They have mighty weapons of protection if they learn to use them. They are appointed to do many exploits. They are not appointed to death ahead of their time, nor are the destructions of their ministries their due. Care for the body, for it is My body you wash with the Word of God. Amen.

Heavenly dreams

Greetings in the love of Jesus, and Happy Resurrection Day! I felt directed to post 2 dreams and a lesson today which give a glimpse into what time period we are now living in, as depicted in the book of Revelation. I pray that God's blessing rests on you as you walk out your faith on this earth. Amen

First Trumpet
5-7-05 dream
In this dream there was a band of about 4 people and myself in the sky. A young man was the flutist and the rest were adults. When the young flutist played, I responded back to him by playing on a short mouth piece flute. We smiled at each other and knew we were waiting for something or someone.

In front of us in the sky was a whale, about 40 ft away. It didn’t move except to open it’s mouth in our direction. We commented on it, and wondered about the whale, but didn’t feel any danger.

Then the whale let out a barely-perceptible sound that was like the sound of a horn. A less-defined creature appeared in the sky above the whale, dark dark red, like dried blood. It had tentacles like liquid blobs which moved out from it’s body, and down towards the whale. With 2 of these blobs it engulfed the whale. I said “Did you see that!?” But the others hadn’t been watching. I was alarmed and thought we should leave.

Interpretation – In this dream we were suspended in silence in the 2nd heaven. The whale represents the seventh seal (fullness of the seals, or a large seal = a whale). During the seventh seal the first trumpet is sounded, so I heard the beginning of the first trumpet. At this same time there is blood in the sky, mixed with hail and fire. The blood represents the protection of the blood of the Lamb for God’s people during judgment. Fire tests the works of Man, and hail is the judgment of God. Because I saw the blood moving we know now that God is sealing His people so that the plagues will “pass over” them, just as the blood of the Lamb on the door posts caused the angel of death to pass over the children of Israel when the angel of death came to Egypt. The barely perceptible sound indicates that these things are occurring in the heavenlies and just beginning to reach down to us on earth. The six seals have passed, and the seventh contains the sounding of the first trumpet, which has begun to sound. May we all be found ready, waiting for the Bridegroom, with lamps trimmed. Amen.

Half hour of silence
5-7-05 dream #2

I was walking with my husband Dave down the hallway of a hospital with my arms full of stuff. We were chatting and I was going to work as a nurse. We passed a lady I used to work with who held her baby for me to see. She had it while I was gone. I realized it was at the first hospital I had worked at. I said “I wonder why they sent me here?”, yet I accepted my assignment. I looked forward to seeing people I knew and had worked with.

I notice I had my bear-claw slippers on. I entered the nurse’s station and couldn’t find where to clock in, wondering if it was a time sheet or a card for a time clock. Someone told me to wait in the other room where the nurses receive report and set my stuff down. I asked Dave if he could get my shoes (“I forgot my shoes. Could you get them?”) He looked unhappy but went to get them. I sat in the back of the room I was to wait in. It was empty except for the head nurse. She stood behind a lectern up front. A half of a clock was on the wall in back of her head. I wondered if she’d recognize me but she averted here eyes. No one else was in the room while we waited, and she was flipping through her notes on the lecture.

Interpretation – This dream is about working in a ministry during the half hour of silence . Coming to work with my slippers on shows that I do not have the right preparation because of sleep. My reliance upon my husband is not right. Each Christian is asked to be alert and on the watch during the time we occupy the earth. The head nurse is the leader of a ministry, preparing for the time to speak when the silence is ended. The half clock represents the half hour of silence. God has given us a brief period of time in which to prepare and wait on Him. May we be found ready. Amen.

The Half Hour We Live In
2/7/06
This morning while in prayer I heard the Lord tell me that I didn’t really understand the times we are in. I remembered that He showed me the first trumpet preparing to sound. That was about 9 months ago. Here is what He shared with me this morning;

“Man thinks I will come back to judge him at his best. He thinks the Spirit will be flowing and he will reign victoriously. But this is the ½ hour of silence. This is that time when I have dried up the Great river Euphrates so that men might be tested by deception. For the love of man has grown cold, and each thought in his heart is for himself, even in some hearts in My kingdom. So my answers are slow, that the waiting would deepen his love. Though some will grow in love, some will not. For satan is gathering many to war against what they know to be the Truth. It is a wilderness, not a paradise. There is unfaithfulness in men’s hearts towards Me. It is a time of testing so severe that many are turning away in the great rebellion. Even those elect which have My great light in them would be lost if this continued. So I will cut it short.

This is a time that men have to be prepared for ahead of time, for it is silent in heaven. Those who are righteous will be holy, and those who are wicked will do evil. The hearts of men will either turn to Me, or away.

Is it any wonder that there are so many self-help books for men to read? Satan has led the hope of man down a path of self-perfection in order to frustrate and anger him. He hopes to turn My people away from their hope in Me, using their abundance of carefully planned works and words to sicken their hearts. For hope deferred makes the heart sick. But what a man believes he waits patiently for. And what a man hopes for he waits for. It isn’t the hope itself that is wrong, but whether a man hopes in what I will produce in him and his life and in the earth, or whether he will produce it from his own seeds. If he has tended to the seeds I planted in his heart, his hope will bear fruit unto eternal life. But if he seeks his own gain and walks according to his own understanding, his hopes will be frustrated and he will call Me evil.

So it is a time to encourage and strengthen your brethren. Do not desire any man to fail, but intercede on behalf of all men, for the days are full of evil. Worship Me with all your heart for in this is safety.

Brotherhood

Brotherhood
9-24-06
Curious beginnings – Travel back in time to Israel’s family; 12 sons who did not always agree with each other . . . who even hated one of their own. But God sent them into the womb of Egypt where 1) they would be knit back together as a family that loved and honored each other, 2) they would endure hardship, all members suffering the yoke of slavery, and 3) Israel’s family would be birthed as a nation of people, leaving Egypt. No longer was Israel’s family ruled by partiality or special interest; each member had become knit to the others.

Just as when children are born and learn to walk and talk, when Israel was born as a nation it was a people who needed to learn to walk next to its Father, led by His hand. Their unity was necessary to learn God’s ways as a nation, and to conquer their enemies, taking the Promise Land as their inheritance. This unity was accomplished in Egypt.

Man has failed to look at circumstances through My eyes. To Man, each success comes as a strength, or an asset to be used in his favor. The more freedom and independence he gains, the more he feels important within himself. But I put Man under the tutelage of slavery, bondage, and adversity to bond him to his brothers and to Me. If a man can learn the worth of his brother, he can be of worth to Me.

Remember the failure of Cain, and that he said “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Remember the failure of Israel’s sons who sold their brother into slavery. When the members of the Church become their brother’s keepers, they will have unity. Then the Church will have success against her enemies and walk into her inheritance.

Sanctify the Lord in our Midst

Sanctify the Lord in our Midst
10/20/06
Lately the Lord has been saying a phrase to me; “Sanctify the Lord in your midst”. I found that the failure to do so is brought up in the incidence of Moses striking the Rock (Nu 20:9-12). He did not trust God to be Holy, and therefore smote Him when he smote the rock. This caused Moses and Aaron to forfeit possession of the Promised Land. We must honor God as holy (Nu 27:14). When we make God look bad, we blaspheme His name amongst the Gentiles (Rm 2:24). How do we make God look bad? If we condone sin and perform it while we name His name, we falsely represent His values. If we do not trust Him to be holy we falsely represent His nature.

God’s plan for our lives includes possession of His promises; the Promised Land. It is there where the Gentiles, or unbelievers, will see a people who represent God. We become a light to those in darkness when we sanctify God in our midst. For this reason God deals with our immaturity, foolishness, and sin so that He might have a people who establish Him as holy in the earth. God is honored when we trust the goodness of His nature and represent Him through holy lives.

It is not often that I think about how I make God look. Do I make Him look good, or bad? Since we try to avoid judging others by appearances, I sometimes forget to look at how I represent the Lord. A worldly example of this concept of appearances is found in “Men in Black” when Will Smith, wearing his new black suit and shades, says “I make this look good”. He was saying that he brought his own good looks to the suit, enhancing it. Though we might laugh at Will for his presumptuousness and conceit, there is something spiritual that emerges from his statement; we have the ability to make what we wear on the outside look good.

Our clothes can also make us look bad. The concept of sanctification included washing one’s clothes in the days of the pilgrimage to the Promised Land. The Lord asked Moses to instruct the people to wash their clothes and be ready for His appearance on Mt. Sinai (Ex 19:10). This represents a spiritual concept, carried into the New Testament through instructions to keep our garment unspotted by the flesh, without spot or wrinkle (Jude :23; Eph 5:27). We see that the Lord doesn’t want us to defile our garments (Rev 3:4) with spiritual fornication. He instructs us to “keep” our garments which He clothes us with; the robes of salvation (Rev 16:15). These robes are washed in His blood, and made white. We are sanctified. How then do we make God look good? This is seen in the picture of the Bride of Christ, dressed in fine linen, bright and clean (Rev 19:7). She is the treasured possession of the Lord, dressed for Him (Rev 21:2). As the wife is the glory of the husband (1 Cor 11:7), so the Bride is the glory of the Christ. In her purity, she makes Him known for Who He is. Her just representation of the Lord sanctifies Him to those around her. In Jesus words “Blessed are those who wash their robes that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city” (Rev 22:14).

If we follow the Israelites through their journey to the Promised land, we find that those who rebelled did not enter in. But those who obeyed Him became His people. They represented Him, even though for a short time, to the rest of the nations. Now, in our lives, we have the challenge to enter into God’s promises, establishing Him before the nations. Let us sanctify the Lord in our midst so that they will come to His light. Amen.

Jesus Christ has come in our flesh part 2

Jesus comes in our flesh as we eat His flesh
10-15-06
I teach my people through many ways. I introduce them to My Word through the Spirit, teaching them spiritual concepts and applying it to their everyday lives. But man will not remember hearing it once. And man will not apply it correctly doing it once. So I bring the same truthes over and over again to form them into man. It is as if he daily ate my flesh, digesting it and appropriating it through his various systems to become part of his own body.

You will often remember little snippits of things I have taught you before, yet not the whole lesson. Perhaps I am setting an old concept into a new circumstance to teach you how to grow. No one is able to monitor their own growth, or control their height by their diet. Yet some fret if they do not know the complete course of their tutelage in Me. This is folly. Surely they will contain the lessons for their growth in their own body if they are led by My Spirit. I will be the One to be seen in their flesh as Jesus, come in the flesh, if indeed they eat My flesh.

Just like in the natural life, man can develop an appetite or preference for certain foods, avoiding those less pleasant. This also happens in the Spirit, man preferring certain truthes and their applications over others. The natural man will always want to do what he does best so that he has approval from his fellow man and from himself. The natural man does not want to be stretched uncomfortably. This causes a death in part because it is unpleasant. But the flesh of Jesus is dead to the desires of the natural man, as the two are opposed. Therefore when you find you are conflicted in your affections, you will choose either to eat My flesh, or to follow your own appetites.

I will come upon those called according to My purposes to restore their appetites unto Me. I covet to clothe the naked with My flesh. My desire is to counsel man to buy of Me gold refined in the fire, to gain eye salve for their blindness, and linen, fine and white, to cover their nakedness. None of these things can come to My people by their own efforts, but only by submitting to Me in the circumstances of their lives. By taking the truthes and applying them appropriately each time according to My Spirit, a man will grow in Me and be formed into My image. Then the work of Me coming in his flesh will be done.

Jesus Christ has come in the flesh

Nov 26, 2004
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. (1 John 4:2,3)

“Every man or woman who follows Me will become like Me. But there are those who set others at ease, making them feel comfortable in their flesh and worldliness. These two types of Christians are all mixed together, growing up together in the field of the earth, planted by the hand of God. Some do not want to pay the price of leaving worldliness behind. They do not want to crucify their flesh. So they will listen to teachers who give them comfort and false peace while walking in the flesh and partaking of the world. They listen to false teachers, and false prophets. Then there are those who follow Me. They have found that there is a price they themselves pay. They lay down their lives for their brethren, leaving the world behind and not seeking after rewards for their labors. Their concern is to carry My heart in their bodies. They eventually find that I have come in their body, a temple I am pleased to dwell in. I have come in the flesh of the Bride of Christ. And the flesh of these Christians will overcome, sin, the world, and the old man Adam. The second Adam will live. What a glorious body of Christ the Bride will be, for she has made herself ready. Those who walk in the flesh and the world are not making themselves ready. They will find that they are offended by the holiness that the Bride of Christ puts on. There will no longer be the stain of sin. It will be too hard for those who have resisted the Holy Spirit, and they will fall away.

Do I require a lot from My people, too much? Those who have My new name, ‘I have overcome’ written on their hearts have faith to overcome also. They will not shrink back. They will not faint when the battle gets hot. And they will not be deceived by false teachers who cry peace and safety to those who love life as it was before I came. There will always be those who do not believe that I have come to make an escape from the corruption in the world. They want you to be like them, and call it freedom. But those who desire Me shall be like Me, and so there will be a great division between wheat and tares, good fish and bad fish, sheep and goats. Those who name My name but are offended at Me will be separated from those who say ‘Come Lord Jesus’. I say, blessed are those who are not offended at Me. Blessed are those who are not offended at the Christ who has come in the flesh of His body. The sign I look for to come to pass is that you receive one another as Me coming in the flesh. That pleases Me.”

The Day of Elijah, and the Curse

Days of Elijah, and the Curse
8/5/06
“This is a time when I am turning the hearts of men to their children and wives, and the hearts of the wives and families to their men. Why did I specifically point this out in Malachi 4:5,6 ? Why is this admonition tied to a curse? Could it be that I looked down the corridors of time to see an episode in the history of the Church when men would not only forsake their families, but encourage others to forsake them as well? Yes, I looked, and I saw. I sent My Word all these years ahead of time to speak of the Days of Elijah when families would be re-established as a priority, for I knew that the hearts of men would be tempted with the coldness of the world. And I am a Father, of which every father on the earth is a type. And I am warm. No, I am more than warm; I am hot. I passionately love families and the begetting of life. Each child has the DNA of My Spirit in him and the potential to live his life to the glory of his God. Each life is important and to be loved and nurtured in the admonition of the Lord. There is no life which would make a worthy sacrifice for the work men are called to do. My Son’s life is the one and only sacrifice needed. To form a culture of forsaking families is what will bring a curse upon your ministry.

What would a New Testament curse look like? Do curses come from God in the Age of Grace and Forgiveness? Yes, they do. The curses of old still remain until the New Jerusalem comes down upon the earth (Rev 22:3). The curse of the law is the only curse done away with. I do not like to threaten Man with a curse. Yet I am just and do not chasten My people without first telling them what I expect from them, and warning them of the consequences of their disobedience. Sanctify Me in your midst. Act like Me. Love like Me. Care for each other like I care for you. Do not show partiality. Do not hide your dirty deeds from each other but walk in the integrity of sins confessed and forgiven. Do not resent the burdens of those who have wives and children, for the admonition is to carry one another’s burdens. There is no law against love.

Those who hold to the tradition of works at the expense and sacrifice of family, and teach others to do the same, will be held guilty of the greater offense. Those who lead men to forsake the care and nurturing of their wives and children will be held responsible for the judgment they have led those men into. See My fire is at the door to burn away the wood, hay, and stubble. Build with precious stones. What are the precious stones? People are My treasured possession (Mal. 3:17 & Rev 17:4). There is no ministry anywhere on My earth who will not be examined for their care of My people.”

Healing

Healing
3/5/06
Last night the Lord gave me a dream in which there was a doctor who could not bring deliverance to a retired warrior. The doctor’s position was on his knees. The warrior was only partially clad with the preparation God had appointed to him. The doctor’s assistants tried to help the retired warrior in their own ways, which were full of legalism. No one could deliver the man.

In this dream the doctor represents the minister of God and his assistants are some intercessors who have fallen into ritualistic prayer and legalism. After this dream was interpreted I received a Word of prophecy as follows;

“If a man finds that he is tired of warring in the Spirit, and yet desires to have a gift from God, he is opened up to being deceived from his enemy. If that man lusts after fulfillment of what he can bring about through his own will, he will be deceived by his enemy. But if a man desires to see Me glorified, he will not be deceived, for he will give Me my sovereignty, and lay down his self-will.

Many warriors have developed self-help books full of techniques to conquer, heal, and obtain victories. The list is endless of how Man has tried to categorize what they should do to get Me to do what they think I should do. Did I not say this would happen, that Man would deny the sovereign God? Is it any wonder that the gifts Man covets to see in operation in the Church are not present? Man must give Me My sovereignty and not lift his teachings above the Word of God.

The power of God will not come because of the right prayers, nor because of the right amount of people praying. Your intercessors cannot deliver the Church of what it willfully wants. But you can turn the hearts of the warriors to the truth; that I am sovereign, and My army never retires. You can refresh the weary-hearted and give a cup of water to all saints, strong and weak alike. There are many things My own eyes see, that are watching My body struggle and fail in their attempts to deliver the Church into it’s inheritance. What I see is what is on My heart, though I am not deaf to your requests. What makes My heart heavy with sorrow is what I am confronting now with My Word. There will be teachers, prophets, and evangelists who will come with My messages of confrontation and restoration to the truth so that the body of Christ might make herself ready; the Bride. This is what is on My heart. This white wedding dress will be glorious, one in which I brag to all the hosts of satan “See, this is what I’ve been doing. You thought you defeated My plan, but look at her. Isn’t she all I said she would be?” The bride will be powerful, filled with every gift from above. And she will be dressed in white.” Amen. Come Lord Jesus.

Healing Anointing

Healing Anointing
2/27/06
Man asks Me when I am going to send My healing anointing to the earth. He says “I can’t heal, only God can do that”. Is this so? O Man whom I gave gifts to, is it so, that you cannot heal? Then why can you prophesy and cast out demons? For I gave gifts to the body of Christ to overcome the evil one, which is the same work I did when I walked the earth.

Now Man does not want to feel guilty if he fails. Yet there is an overwhelming need for healing in the body of Christ. What there is not enough of is faith. “How do you have faith for what you cannot do?” you say. Let us begin at the beginning of the lack of faith.

I am the head of the body, and each part is designed to fit together with the other parts. You know this well, and that submission to Me makes the body work well. However, I have set authority in the body for it is necessary for the hands to care for the feet, and the eyes to see for the back of the head. If all were the ears where would be the seeing. So the problem is that the parts of the body do not always receive each other’s function, neither do some parts want to receive nourishment from others. Though I have deposited a great wealth of gifts in the body, only some are permitted to use the greater gifts. When there was concern over false prophecy, there was a great hush from the mouth. When there was fear of hearing the voice of God incorrectly there were mufflers put over the ears. And when there was a wound found, there were no skilled hands found to pray for healing, for there were thoughts of it may not be My timing, or perhaps the Lord wants this one to die.

If the body is truly submitted to the Head, then it would receive from the Head good advice; truth. For I am called the Spirit of Truth and bear witness to Myself. I have not forgotten to give the gift of healing to the body of Christ. The individual churches are very wealthy with My gifts, though they do not see them in operation. The delegated heads of each body have the purpose of bringing up those who are lesser into their function, restoring the faith of the faint-hearted. Instead, many Sunday services involve a speaker and an audience.

But the body cares about its function. The Bride is preparing herself for her Lord. One by one her members are crying out to know their destiny. Timid Christians are repenting and returning to love, power, and a sound mind.

How did the Church come to the image of a blushing bride who sits and waits for her Lord? Is there anything in My Word that indicates I would do everything and you would sit? On the contrary; we are partners, as a husband and wife should be. We are one body, one flesh, one faith. As I have overcome so you will overcome and sit down with Me on My throne. This does not come to those who sit on their own thrones every day. It is a position of power.

When Man encourages his brothers and sisters to use their gifts and bestows honor on them in their callings, then you will see the gift of healing come forward. I have given it. It is for the body of Christ. It is amongst you. Receive each other and you will receive rewards. Amen.

stand along-side

Stand along-side
2/25/06
I had a dream in which an angel was instructing me in heavenly language (I have no interpretation for her words). My husband Dave & I then went to a body of believers and prayed with them in a circle. I instructed them, with sudden understanding about what I had heard from the angel, telling the believers to go out and report on what their fellow-believers were doing. The report concerned the works of ministry being done, and how well they were doing (much like an assessment of need). As each one left the prayer circle to join themselves to a brother or sister in need, many healings and miracles were released. This was because the ones sent out cared for those whom they were sent to, and prayed for them.

After this dream Dave and I talked. We agree that the Lord is joining people for instruction, who in turn will come along-side others ministries. God bless us to hear and obey His call so that He might release the bountiful blessings He has for us all. Amen.

Power of God
7/2/06
If a man will be perfect in My sight he will do well. Many men think this is not possible. They knows not the power of Christ’s resurrection, that it is a living power in the life of the believer. That is why it is possible to say “Jesus Christ has come in the flesh”. Paul wanted to know the resurrection power of Christ (Phil 3:10,11), not just so that he would be resurrected, but so that he would have power over sin, the world, and the flesh in this life. He knew that is what would enable him to walk out his godly life amongst men, the only way he could accomplish it, and the only way he could have perfect fellowship with Me. Paul counted all things loss so that he could know Me (vs 8,9).

This perfect life is not impossible, but for many it is undesirable, so they set up road-blocks of unbelief which allow them to remain in the flesh, or partake of the world and sin. Not so My Bride. My Bride hungers for intimacy with her lover, the Lord Jesus Christ, the spiritual caretaker of her soul and provider of her Life. She is symbolized as a people pursued by satan who wars against them because they have the testimony of Jesus Christ (Rev 12:17). But they overcome the devil by the Word of their testimony and the blood of the Lamb (vs 11). They believe in the testimony of the resurrection power of Christ, evidenced by Christ living in them. Their fellowship with Me is their reward.

It is the spirit of the world that teaches that a believer can have this resurrection power without laying their will down in submission to Mine. You see the spirit of the world prevalent in the worldly parents who give their children things which are inappropriate for their age and reward them irregardless of their behavior, as if the children have a right to be rewarded. But this is not the Spirit of Christ. All through the Word of God it is written that a man reaps what he sows, and that God is not mocked. And so only those who will lay down their will and submit under My hand will come to know the resurrection power of the Christ.

It is the nature Man and the influence of the Beast[1] to teach men that they can manipulate Me and pray according to their pre-determined patterns. But a man must be submissive to stand in My presence and be received. A submissive man will receive the counsel of his God. These types of people will be called “The Healers of the People”. For it is not just the prayers that they offer which please Me; it is the right action which they petition Me for which brings My power upon the earth. In this way the people of the earth see My power in My people, and in the earth. Those who are submissive come to know My nature. In laying down their lives to know Me, in counting all things loss in order to know Me, they learn to know My burdens. These people, these Healers and carry My burdens with Me, for they value My issues above their own issues. They stand in My presence, and hear My voice.

the Healing Room

Dream about healing room
2-5-06
A person was sick. An angel gave instructions about which room to go into, as if there were 3 choices. The room had animals in it, like a zoo. The angel gave the person scissors.

Interpretation; Healing comes from the room of healing. I does not come from the room of wisdom, nor from the room of judgment. There is one room in which the sickness abides, and needs to be cut off. What I saw was God’s house of provision. The angel directs people to the right room to pray so that their prayers will be effective. If a man needed wisdom, he would be sent to a room to receive instruction. If a man needed repentance, he would be sent to a room of judgment. But if a man needs healing, he is sent to a room full of his affliction so that he can cut it off.

God made provision for the cutting off of affliction and disease through the blood of His Son Jesus. When we are repentant of all known sin in our lives, we are holy. He invites us into the healing room so that we can partake of His provision for healing. We use the authority of Jesus’ name, and satan’s demons have to bow to that authority. His sacrifice is strong and able to purchase your healing. Amen.

In John 9:3 Jesus told His disciples that the man whom He healed had not sinned, neither had his parents. The man was not ill as a judgment on sin. I believe this is another reason that the angel directed the person into the healing room in my dream. Some people spend a lot of time trying to understand why they are sick. They may not have faith in the blood Jesus shed on the cross to heal them.

Custodial Pastors

Custodial Pastors
6-11-06
Today I heard a strange thing from the Lord, and I had to look up meanings and interpretations of words to get an understanding of what the He was telling me. The Lord said “I am retiring the custodial pastors”. When I wondered what He meant, He said “They have no vision, and have not prepared the Church to be the Bride”. I came home to see what kind of pastors the Lord was referring to. Here is the definition of custodian, and pastor, from Tydale’s Bible Dictionary;

Custodian – “Servant whose responsibility was to accompany, protect, and sometimes discipline his master’s son until the boy reached maturity.” These custodians supervised their charges’ moral conduct and general behavior.

Pastor – The word literally means “shepherd”. It is used in both the OT and NT in a figurative sense for rulers and leaders. Of the 12 times the word is used in the NT as a metaphor for “leader’, it is translated as “pastor” only in Eph 4:11. Pastors and teachers together formed a group who complemented the work of apostles, prophets, and evangelists. . . . It is the pastor’s responsibility to build up the body of Christ by watching over the congregation (Acts 20:28; Heb 13:7) and countering false teaching (Acts 20:29,30). More detailed information regarding the duties and responsibilities of pastors is found in Paul’s letters to Timothy and Titus.

In looking up what vision some pastors might lack, I turned to the vision of the Bride from Revelation. It shows her in her splendor, and a great multitude could be saying that the Bride had made herself ready (Rev 19:7). We also read a description of the Holy City being prepared as a Bride beautifully dressed for her husband (Rev 21:2). An angel took John to see the Bride, the wife of the Lamb (Rev 21:9). In this description we read about those who have participated in the preparation of the Bride, as follows;

A great high wall with 12 gates, with 12 angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel (vs 12).

The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb (vs 14).

I’ve included a paragraph from an earlier lesson about the wall of the Holy City which describes some of the symbolism;

Part of what God’s people are is a priesthood. In Rev 5:8-10 we see this role as offering prayers and worship (Rev 15:2). We also are called living stones (1 Pet 2:4,5) which are built up into a spiritual house to be a royal priesthood. The Holy Spirit is consistent with this analogy, carrying it into Rev 21:17 wherein the wall around the City is measured to be “144 cubits thick, by man’s measurement, which the angel was using.” In Rev 14 we read about 144,000 saints with harps; priests of our God. The wall is God’s people, lively stones, knit together in faith over time. These living stones are made of gold so pure it seems like glass (Rev 15:2 & 21:18). This is our faith, tried by fire, precious like gold. So, the risen Christ counseled the church to buy from Him gold, refined in the fire (Zech 13;9 & Rev 3:18). It is necessary to be purified to be a priestly wall, a kingdom of priests. The holy apostles and prophets laid a righteous foundation for our faith, suffering death to preserve it pure for us. Those who built on it with gold, silver and costly stones have built into the foundations of the walls of the City of God with eternal works (1 Cor 3:10-14 & Rev 21:19-21). It is an awesome responsibility to build with Jesus!

Measuring rod of gold to measure the city, it’s gates and its’ walls (vs 15).

I believe the measuring rod is Jesus, of Whose measure we are to grow up into (Eph 4;13). And the jewels? I believe that the Lord speaks of His people as His treasured possessions (Mal 3:17) and the truthes we hold are like jewels (KJV same verse). This fits in with the analogy of being built together into a wall of lively stones.

The description of the Bride in Rev. 21 shows that whole people groups, (the Jews and Christians) have preserved our inheritance for all of those who would come to believe in the name of Jesus. Each foundation laid had enduring and eternal works built upon them. And now that it has come down to our generation, what sort of materials should we build with? We want to build with gold, silver, and costly stones (jewels) so that our work will support the next generation which will build upon us. And for these works, we need vision.

Looking again at Rev 19:7,8 we read that the Bride is clothed in fine linen, bright and clean. This symbolizes the righteous deeds of the saints. For these works, again, we need vision. The vision of what the Lord has for us individually and as the Church comes by revelation, and is what the church is founded on. The first mention of the Church is in the gospels where Peter tells Jesus that He is the Son of God. When Jesus said “Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you” He was saying that Peter knew who Jesus was by revelation. On that rock, revelation, Jesus built His Church. Later, in Ephesians 3:5 Paul tells the church that the mystery of salvation was revealed to the apostles and prophets. This is consistent with Amos 3:7 where we read that God does not do anything without revealing it first to His prophets.

In praying over the initial word about the custodial pastors, I believe the Lord is saying that we need a revelation, a fresh vision of what our inheritance is, and what works we are called to do. In reviewing the definition of “pastor” I see that they are called to work with teachers as a group which complements the work of Apostles, Prophets, and Evangelists. The Lord spoke to me previously that there is a shift occurring, and an age of power which is to come. I have since read other prophetic words which say this same thing. With this in mind, those pastors who are preparing their flocks to walk in the works predestined for them to do, to use and steward the gifts given to them for the body of Christ, do well. But I believe we will also see those who lack vision will simply retire. Let us all pray for those who have rule over us in the faith that they will receive fresh vision, and be brought together with those who have the revelation which some lack. Amen.

putting God in a box

Putting God in a Box
6/27/06
Many people know Me by their boxes of rules and their own understanding. To them, I am in their box. But I exert Myself in the lives of those who seek Me, to show them I live outside their box. When I take a man into My confidence to show him that I operate outside the box, it is because our walk together won’t fit inside the box.

One way of getting a seeker to see outside the box of his rules and his own understanding is to allow trials to come into his safe, understandable life. The winds of adversity will blow the walls down, and enlarge his understanding of Me. Some trials take on the nature of breaking the relationships that have been sustaining the faith of the believer. But if the people who form these relationships give counsel from their own hearts, I will put a wedge in between the seeker and his acquaintances. For the sake of the seeker I do this, so that he might learn to come stand in My counsel himself. I covet all who seek and love Me.

I am a God who loves to show Who I am, My heart, My thoughts, My songs and My comfort, to those who seek Me. I am a God Who can be found. Now is that time when I may be found. Understand that the trials may not seem fitting, but that Man was not meant to fit in a box any more than I was.

preparation of the body of Christ

The Preparation of the Body of Christ
6-10-06
This week the Lord has been speaking to my heart about the preparation of the Bride, and how the 5-fold ministry helps with this preparation. He also spoke to me about the trials appointed to ministries, and how the preparation to stand through these trials is accomplished through the effectual working of each member’s gifts. Though we seem dwarfed next to our Savior, Jesus, there is a plan for us to stand in His stature. Here is the lesson on this subject;

“In the scriptures it is written that I place in the body, that being the Church, or ministry, each person with each gift that I see fit (1 Cor 12:18). In My plan for the body, I put into the body what it needs by placing people in it who have the gifts and offices necessary for the body’s success. The trials which come against the body are to temper the metal of the body, or strengthen it. The disciplines each body experience will train it in My ways (Heb 12:11).

Now, no man would choose to not use an arm, or a leg. His members are exercised by their use, as individually each member is exercised by the use of My Word (Heb 5:14). So it is spiritually, that a man’s fitness comes from his use of his faith, applying the Word of God in the various circumstances of his life.

A body of Christ grows up by the Life which I supply it for it’s growth. I give the individual members that which is needed for the rest of the members so at his or her point of contact the joints, tendons, ligaments and so forth are where nourishment flows to the body (Eph 4:16). This process is hindered if one member does not get its use, and the body is in danger of becoming lame. A body that has both legs not functioning is disabled. If an arm does not work, the one good arm must do twice the work, and so it goes.

In this time, there are many ministries with non-functioning members, so much so that they are little more than speaking heads with a neck to turn on. So this is the area I am addressing in the churches and ministries as I prepare My body; 1) getting each member of the body functioning, and 2) not forming erroneous beliefs about how to function as a disabled body.

I have richly endowed the body of Christ with gifts, yet she does not use them. She does not invest her gifts, but holds the treasures as if they were possessions only. Though trials will come, each body would have better success using all its God-given gifts and abilities.

The 5-fold ministry is the greatest gift to the church, giving the ability to bring up under them those gifts each individual member has, until the body stands mature. Each ministry, church and body of believers needs to mature by the exercise of the Life which I supply its members. The Life in the arm must be allowed to be used or the arm will lose its ability to function. This is the same with all the members I have set in each ministry. The perfect plan for each body of believers resides in the Head and is given to the 5-fold ministry for the body itself to grow up and mature into My stature, or fullness. The end result of this is that I will fill all, and be in all. The only way for the body to stay fit, get where it is going, and accomplish the work appointed to it from the very foundations of the earth is for each member to be operational. And this is what My Holy Spirit is doing in the churches, ministries, and bodies of believers at this time.”

God's sovereignty, and the knowledge of the glofy of the Lord

“Why is the knowledge of the glory of the Lord thin? Because Man does not give Me My sovereignty. Man’s understanding has added and taken away from the truth, and usurped one of the greatest functions of the Holy Spirit; teaching Truth.

False teachers and false prophets deny the sovereign Lord who bought them (2 Pet 2:1). And this is the root of all heresies; adding Man’s understanding to God’s Word. In the list of vices (Gal 5:20) are selfish ambition, dissensions, and factions. These are less evident works of the flesh for they operate in the mind and can eloquently be presented as gifted learning. An ambitious Christian leader seems full of confidence, and one that disagrees with common knowledge may seem genuinely sincere in his opposing beliefs. Indeed, men will applaud those who elevate their own status (Ps 49:18). But it is the broken and contrite man who stands in My presence (Is 66:2).

In this hour, men will be pulled in opposite directions; some will go towards pride, to elevate themselves to themselves and others by their words and actions. The others will go towards lowliness. The second group of men have given Me sovereignty in their lives. In their trials they do not turn away. When patience is required, they do not run to the idols of this life; the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life (1 Jn 2:16). They have become lowly because they trust the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has become their meat and bread, their portion in this life. And like the priests of old, their inheritance is to be called, separated to the Lord. They are dedicated to Me and value every Word that comes from My mouth.

If a man lives by his own understanding and loves his own words, he has usurped the Holy Spirit. If his opinions and speech are opposed to the knowledge of the Lord and he denies My sovereignty, he blasphemes My Holy Spirit. This is the end manifestation, or fruit, of a man who opposes the Holy Spirit’s instruction.

The Holy Spirit is a Counselor, a Teacher, and the Spirit of Truth (Jn 14:17 & 26). His work is to convict of sin, bear witness to Jesus, and set the boundaries of judgment down, the measurement of Christ (Jn 16:8-11). When He ministers to the believer, we know He is speaking the truth because He takes the truth the Father is offering to us, and gives the understanding to us (Jn 16:15).
In the Bible you read that the disciples asked Me for understanding. I told them I no longer would speak to them in parables, but plainly. I encouraged My disciples to ask in My name, and the Holy Spirit would give them the answer (Jn 16:23-28). I knew that the function of My Spirit would be to reveal truth to those who asked. Because the Father’s thoughts are higher, and His ways are higher, you are now taught about them by the Holy Spirit. It is significant to ask in My name because the name represents the character of the one named. That is how the Words which the Holy Spirit speak sanctify those who receive them (Jn 17:17), for I was and am holy. I am glorified in you (vs 10) and still glorify the Father by My Life and Words living in you, because My nature has not changed (Jn 17:4). I am still teaching you about the Father’s name (Jn 17:11), His character. You are given pieces of the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, which one day will cover the earth (Hab 2:14). This is the work of the Holy Spirit”.

God's seeming lack of intervention

There comes times into our lives when we ask the Lord why such terrible tradgedies occur. After one such prayer time the Lord answered me with a Word of prophecy, and a lesson about the prophet. This is a hard Word, but lines up with scripture both in the Old Testament and the New. Perhaps we like to think of God's benevolence and forget His sense of justice. Yet He loves justice also, and it is His hand that determines the events on this earth. With that said, here is the Word;

God’s seeming lack of intervention
8/11/06 and 8/12

“Man wonders at My lack of intervention when evil is done to My people. Circumstances which could have been stopped or changed are let go to an evil end. Why? Because I have given men a chance to repent and have shown My light through My people on his dirty works, and he has not repented.

Those who are sinned against have prayed, their lives being laid on the altar as a living sacrifice. Therefore I have sent My prophets with My words in their mouths, and men have not repented of their evil. The prophets have stood in the gap for the sinful men. I have sent wise men who eloquently petition for repentance and change, yet these same men who say “amen” to their wise counsel do not change. So I remove My hand which holds back evil, and then I reward each man according to their works (Rev 2:23; also see 2 Thess 2:6,7). When I review the lives of these men with them, each individually, I will show all the words of My faithfulness which I so faithfully sent them through My faithful servants (Ps 89:8). Then they will know that surely at any point they could have stopped the evil which came, and that they are responsible for their own blindness and for stopping up their ears. There will be no blaming of other people, for the courts in heaven look upon the lives lived on earth for their content.

He who thinks evil will eventually do evil. But the righteous will shine like the noon-day Sun. This is why there comes a time when My call goes out to My people to come out of Babylon; it won’t get any better, and judgment is coming. It is a principle of the heavenlies that when evil is unrestrained, it becomes manifest who serves evil and who serves holiness.

Man waits for My intervention so that it may be seen who is of the light and who is of darkness. But I have said that those who honor Me, who tremble at My word, it is they who will discern between evil and good, and between those who serve Me and those who do not (Mal 3:16-18). Man will continue in error and sin, foolishly thinking I would surely stop him if he were out of My will. But in their blindness they will never see. Those who look into the light of My Words and return to dark deeds will not serve Me, neither do they bring Me honor. Therefore I will let their dishonor come to the surface, for it is time to judge the hearts of men, and I will do it.”

“Those who light the fires of their own understanding lie down in torment (Is 50:10,11). Because people think I have changed, because they think no longer does a man reap what he sows, because a man stubbornly goes on in his own way and discerns by his own understanding, he lays down in the darkest sorrow, and gains no wisdom from his actions or his thoughts”.

God’s watchmen have the knowledge of the Lord (Ps 89:7). They have sight. They speak, and warn (see Is 56:10 for the opposite). His watchmen have understanding and walk in His way, seeking the gain of the kingdom.

Works and the Sabbath Rest

Works and Sabbath Rest
1/22/06
“It is a time when the Bride is making herself ready (Rev 19:7,8). She will wear white, which is the righteous deeds of the saints. I send My Word into churches and ministries everywhere to prepare them to walk in white. For some think that their labor in Me is enough. However, if they labor for their own benefit, to exalt their own ministry, they are not wearing white. Their garment is spotted with the corruption of their flesh (Jude 23 & Rev 3:4). It is a temptation to trust in one’s own righteousness when looking at the work accomplished (Ez 33:13). The church at Sardis did not even see that their works were not complete, nor that they had become stained with their corrupt nature. This is the slumber which catches many by surprise; contentment of accomplishment. So strong is it amongst the churches of today that Christians compete with each other for the better ministries and the more eminent positions. These things seem strong and secure. But only those who wear white will enter into the wedding feast (Mt 25:10-13).

I have many in the churches who wear white and are a witness to their brethren of My overcoming power. They are servants. They come when called, and are not busy with their own aspirations. They help with ministries which are suffering and floundering, for they have not forgotten that they too once were fallen (Rev 2:5). Their commitment to the Bridegroom keeps them alert and awake, and their works are alive.

Works are alive when they carry out the Word of the Lord. My Word is alive, vibrant, and any ministry which follows Me will be alive also. The resurrection Life that is in Me is not just for Me, but for My brethren also. Those who have overcome have entered into the fellowship of My sufferings (Phil 3:10,11) and ceased from sin (1 Pet 4:1). Because they live no longer to do their own will, they will be glorified in doing My will. This is the “rest” spoken of in Hebrews 4:9; “There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God: for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His”. This death to self is spoken of as “Those who die in the Lord” (Rev 14:13) and refers to the works of Man. Their own works will die with their death to self, and the deeds they do in the Lord will follow them. These deeds are works which I have prepared from the foundation of the earth for each Christian to do (Eph 2:10). Those who answer My call and overcome sin, the world, and their flesh, will walk in their predestined works and build My kingdom. Therefore is the admonition to make every effort to enter into that rest, realizing that one can fail through disobedience (Heb 4:11).

I am calling those who are prepared, who are standing idle in the marketplace because no man would hire them (Mt 20:6,7). I am calling the lame and undesirable Christians who have been delivered of demons, who were once homeless, who have filed bankruptcy in the past, and many other social offences (Lk 14:21). I am calling them for they have been washed in the blood (Rev 7:14). If they will come wearing the wedding garment (Mt 22:11,12), they will walk with Me.”
