Jesus Christ has come in the flesh

Nov 26, 2004
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. (1 John 4:2,3)

“Every man or woman who follows Me will become like Me. But there are those who set others at ease, making them feel comfortable in their flesh and worldliness. These two types of Christians are all mixed together, growing up together in the field of the earth, planted by the hand of God. Some do not want to pay the price of leaving worldliness behind. They do not want to crucify their flesh. So they will listen to teachers who give them comfort and false peace while walking in the flesh and partaking of the world. They listen to false teachers, and false prophets. Then there are those who follow Me. They have found that there is a price they themselves pay. They lay down their lives for their brethren, leaving the world behind and not seeking after rewards for their labors. Their concern is to carry My heart in their bodies. They eventually find that I have come in their body, a temple I am pleased to dwell in. I have come in the flesh of the Bride of Christ. And the flesh of these Christians will overcome, sin, the world, and the old man Adam. The second Adam will live. What a glorious body of Christ the Bride will be, for she has made herself ready. Those who walk in the flesh and the world are not making themselves ready. They will find that they are offended by the holiness that the Bride of Christ puts on. There will no longer be the stain of sin. It will be too hard for those who have resisted the Holy Spirit, and they will fall away.

Do I require a lot from My people, too much? Those who have My new name, ‘I have overcome’ written on their hearts have faith to overcome also. They will not shrink back. They will not faint when the battle gets hot. And they will not be deceived by false teachers who cry peace and safety to those who love life as it was before I came. There will always be those who do not believe that I have come to make an escape from the corruption in the world. They want you to be like them, and call it freedom. But those who desire Me shall be like Me, and so there will be a great division between wheat and tares, good fish and bad fish, sheep and goats. Those who name My name but are offended at Me will be separated from those who say ‘Come Lord Jesus’. I say, blessed are those who are not offended at Me. Blessed are those who are not offended at the Christ who has come in the flesh of His body. The sign I look for to come to pass is that you receive one another as Me coming in the flesh. That pleases Me.”
