open vent in Hawaii, Big Island

Greetings in the name of Jesus. Monday I read an article in our local paper about a vent opening up in the southern part of the Big Island, emitting poisonous gasses. I had a dream about this 4 yeras ago, which I sent to the ministry we were serving at that time. As this (open vent) has now become a current event I feel it is important to publish this dream today. Dream 5/25/04 Volcanic Eruption

I was working in a Dr’s office in a town near the east side of the base of a volcanic mountain here in Hawaii. A fireman came from the North and told me that the mountain was unstable and there were 2 places it might erupt, emitting a pyroclastic cloud that would come to us from around the mountain. I motioned with one hand rounding across the top of the other, saying, “You mean it will come like this?” He was patient, but resolute, saying “Not exactly like that”, and again, that the fire and lava could come at any time so we should move off the mountain.

Next scene – I was in the ocean, near shore, on the west side of the island. An older lady was also in the ocean behind me. The waves were covered in brown seeds, gently rolling towards me. We remarked at the seed-like stuff and I said “I know what to do”. We walked to shore as the waves hit our knees, waist, then chest, even though we were in shallower water. The waves were getting higher as we neared shore. An older and very thin man sat on the lava rock shore. As we walked out of the water the seeds stuck to my chest and body. End of dream

Interpretation – The fireman was an angel, warning me to get off the mountain. The places that will open up are vents in the earth which will release poisonous gases. The seeds are God’s Word . The lava rock is barrenness, for nothing can grow on it. The elderly, thin man represents a famine of God’s Word ; the current season Hawaii is in. (NOTE: Since this dream there has been an increase in the severity of earthquakes on the Big Island, Hawaii)

God warns people when He is sending judgment, and spares them . The judgment will cause a great planting of God’s Word. You will take them to the bare infertile land, and find that those who have grown lean are waiting for the Word of God. You will find Abrahams there, thirsty and hungry for the knowledge of God. And you will take Sarahs with you, carrying the seeds of promise.

Judgment shows the nature and character of God; not that He is evil and punitive, but that He has not changed and we need to get to know Him again.
