satisfaction in the Lord

Why does man want to take a break from being good? When will righteousness be enough for him? I look for those who are satisfied in Me, and find restless Christians, drifting back into the world. I hear the grumbling hearts, complaining of what they can’t have, or of all they must do. How good recreation looks to those who are bored, and entertainment to those whose light has grown dim.

Man was created as a temple. His heart longs to host the Fire of the Universe. The vibrancy of Life Eternal is looking for such hearts. Yet My enemy is there, saying that what I give is not enough . . . . that I am holding back (see Gen 3:4-5).

Shall I prove Myself again? Do I give another Son? I have given the grumblers and unbelievers of the earth many men and women that they were not worthy of (Heb 11:38). It did not change them, because they want the world. They believe I’m holding out on them. How wrong are the unbelieving. I would not let innocent blood be spilt for that which is worth nothing. But the heart that turns, that is the heart worth everything.

I will have a bride who loves Me, truly. She will let Me fill her heart. My bride will not accept accusations against Me. And therein lies the separation between one man and his brother. The accuser teaches man to accuse. But you were called to bless (1 Pet 3:9). I teach a man to bless.

special graces

I find it’s hard to do the good thoughts I want to do. Sound familiar? This is from Romans 7:18. When Paul wrote this he also shared with us the solution to his dilemma. He wrote that “those who live according to the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit wants to do (Rm 8:5). Do we sometimes struggle with good thoughts that we can’t seem to carry out? And the better question is, are they God’s thoughts, or are they ours?

The clear answer is that, when we live in the Spirit, we have our mind set on the good thoughts that are from God. It’s as if He comes along, inserting His thoughts into ours, and says “let me show you how to do this better.” He loves it that we are willing to do good, and then brings the best of the good into our minds to do.

I am a person who has often struggled with the motives, or good intentions, of my heart. Looking at good results didn’t always convince me that I was doing God’s best in my life. Then the Lord took me though a personal tutoring program, called “affliction.” I had an illness that just wouldn’t go away. It sapped all my strength from me, and then my motivation to do good left also. Later, as God began healing me, He asked me to do things I had no strength to do. He gave me “special graces” to carry the tasks. I’ve come to know that these graces are His power, quickening my mortal body (Rm 8:11). In His special graces lie His richness, and the depth of His love. I find His strength there, and His character is made known to me. All that God is lives in me when I am willing to walk in the grace that carries me where I cannot walk alone.

God loves it when we want to do good, and enjoys our thoughts. Just like any loving father, He comes along and tells us “let me show you how to do it better.” We can go from the frustration of not being able to do the good we want, to the victory of doing “all things through Christ Who strengthens us” (Phil 4:13). Let us remember that the answer is in living in the Spirit, and the strength comes in those special graces that allow us to walk with God.

kings

A king wouldn’t be successful unless he planned his day. You are all kings (Rev 1:6), and unless you come aside to Me each morning, you will not be successful in your daily walk.

A king carries authority for a purpose. His day is not random and though decisions may come unexpectedly, he is prepared. His prior obediences have prepared him and he remains in the Spirit of his call. He never isn’t My king. In bestowing this kingship on My people, I gave them similar authority.

Some men throw unbelief on their role as kings in order that they can do their own will. Yes, it takes faith to believe I would share My plan with you every day. But those who seek Me must believe that I exist and am One Who rewards them. It is a reward I share with those who come to Me (Heb 11:6). They are rich in Me.

I am a just God, teaching My kings justice. I set the unbelieving aside for punishment (Rev 21:8) because it is for evil reasons that they choose unbelief. Unbelief doesn’t come to those who are innocent, but to those who are unwilling. Every man who is full of unbelief could be converted to faith, for a cost. It costs him his life to walk in true faith. But he forfeits his life by walking in unbelief. This is why it is written “What does a man benefit if he gains his life but forfeits his soul?” (Mt 16:24-26). This is the opposite of the man who found the pearl of great price and went to sell all that he had so that he could purchase it (Mt 13:45). A man must pay a price to walk in the kingdom.

stages of faith

Stages of Faith
Today the Lord began talking to me about where He wants His people to go in their walk of faith. For those struggling with hearing God, they have just begun the journey. However, don't lose heart. It is a journey worth taking. Helen

God’s people need to learn how to hear His voice to learn about Him.

They need to learn about Him to know How He speaks and Who His is.

After establishing that God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, God’s people need to grasp the purpose behind what He speaks.

After determining the purpose, they need to obey or “do” His word.

Then comes the real warfare

When in warfare, the obedient person now has to stand on the invisible; God’s word. Will he protect the word in the good soil of his heart, yielding a harvest, or will he let satan steal God’s words.

When the person has stood on God’s word and waged the “good fight of faith” he will enter into victory. He has thwarted satan and will bring a harvest of righteousness from his life, if he endures.

After victory, the man will enter into a place of choice; he can (1 go on to further battles and greater authority in life, and greater responsibilities, or he can (2 say “I never want to go through that again and put it all behind him. The first man will become one who continues to grow in righteousness, overcoming, and can lead others in their faith. The second man will not see the value in the righteousness and faith won in his battle, and will draw increasingly more comforts from this life, having regretted the cost of the battle. He will lead others into the flesh and the world, making them weaker instead of stronger. While the first man becomes My friend, the second eventually becomes My enemy.

You will see churches led by men who seek to make people feel comfortable in their flesh. They are setting these men up for their ultimate defeat. None of them will bear the image of My Son, Jesus. Jesus thought the battle was worth it. He welcomed the authority over His enemy because He knew how to use it. All men who value righteousness and endure through the battle to victory will know how to use authority also. Let no man give another man authority, for I alone know whom I trust, and who is My friend. And I will reveal it to those who love Me, who know Me as I am.

Word for Santa Rosa

I am bringing My people together in unity. I am preparing My bride, succoring and nurturing her. She is tender, and wounded. Yet she is strong and capable. Amn man who wants to exploit her is not on My side. They are those who traffic in the souls of men (Rev 18:13). They have the soul of Reuben, who used his father’s wife for his own pleasure (Gen 35:22 & 49:4). Like Reuben, these men will lose their appointed place.

I am looking for men who have sterwarded what I have given them. Those who have been faithful will steward the gifts I have placed in others. These men will build others up and encourage them to walk in glory. These men are helping Me prepare My bride.

I have My eye on Santa Rosa for My purposes. I will not misuse her; I will develop My people here into a legacy and spare them harm. For great harm is coming. It has many more faces than the lack seen currently. But My provision is with Me, saith the Lord. I own the cattle on 1000 hills (Ps 50:10).

God's word is His seed

God watches over His word
I value My word. I watch over it to bring it to pass. If a man would know what is important he should watch how he spends his time. If he would know what is important to Me, his God, he should watch how I spend My time.

I put My seed, My word, in the earth and patiently watch over it. When Man sees nothing because the seed is under the ground, I see the seed growing. I know the stages of the growth of the word I plant. I know what is needed to bring it to maturity. If I ask Man to care for his physical harvest, do I not care for the spiritual? I patiently watch over it that it might bring forth the best results. This is how I spend My time.

I think about My plans before I speak, carefully placing My words in earthen vessels. Though a man may forget, I never forget My words. The care I have in watering and nourishing the earth is the same care I have for Man, My vessels of earth. If his life fails in him, though My purposes continue, My seed will perish in him. This is why I scatter many seeds, all of them important.

Though I could speak a word and bring creation into being, I have not brought My kingdom into being on the earth without the labor of Man. Just as the seed needs the earth to mature, so My word needs Man in order to grow and become a harvest. I designed it this way, that I would labor with Man, my word in him, until maturity cloaks him with the likeness of Christ. The life in the earthen vessel is valuable, as is the word I speak. I carefully tend to the life of each man that he might become a son of God. It is the power of My word that will one day transform him into My image. He knows not that the seed of My word, laying in the darkness of the soil of his heart, will one day become a light that shines out of him. But he doesn’t need to know what the word will become. He only needs to let Me tend to it, and have faith in My ability to do what I do best; bring My word to pass. If men will have faith in Me, and follow My example in the earth, which is Jesus, the Seed, then they will become sons and daughters of God. The Life is in the Seed, the word in the flesh which came to dwell amongst men. The Life will find its way from deep in the soil of the hearts of men up into the Sonshine of My Spirit.

As a man learns to value how I spend My time with him, he will spend his time wisely. My words will find deep root in him, and his life will surround the seeds with nourishment. This man will arrange his time so as to shelter the word as it begins to be birthed from the earth of his life. He will watch over his faith and let no evil thought steal the word from him. He will weed the desires of the world from his heart, and lay his cares aside when I speak. Trust and love, hope and faith will fertilize the soil and make it rich. For I have entrusted my word, which is of value, into his life. My hope is for a harvest. I have loved his life and imparted faith for him to care for that which is yet unseen, as if it were seen. I have given each man the ability to imagine the unseen, as if it already existed. He has the ability to draw affection from his heart to nurture the seed of my word, watching for the promised harvest. For what a man hopes for in faith, he waits for with endurance. And this ability is from his God, the Life within the seed. Amen.
