A word that came today after work, and for the body of Christ as well;
"Your lives are like a fine woven fabric that covers the earth with My goodness. Your works cover you as individuals, and as the body of Christ. The fabric of your works are called fine linen.
There is no futile work that I appoint you to. There is no work that in and of itself is not worthy to do. When Joseph was thrown in prison, he was appointed over prisoners to see that they were cared for. This was an important work. Because it was not his destiny does not mean it was not important.
Some of My people think of life as a means to an end. They want to be glorified with Me, and see the earthly works they do as ways to pass time. This is not the purpose of the works appointed to Man. Others feel like the work they do is only to prepare them for something greater, and so they do not love what they are doing. Both ways of thinking are in error. Still others forget the good they do and it loses importance to them, for they do not see that they leave good behind them for the benefit of those to come.
Man is appointed to rule the earth. This takes in all things, from weeding the ground, to being a president of the country. When men do their work with all their hearts they bring glory to Me and joy to the earth. Love what you do, no matter what it is. For there is no work that is futile. Enjoy your present day and what it holds for you. The future belongs to Me and I share its wonders sovereignly. Amen
