The times and their purposes

“Men’s hearts like to remember when times were “good”, but no one can go back to living in those times. The time in American of heroes and men who stood on principles were good times. It was a time when morality was in society as much as in the churches, although the issues were often different. It was a Petri dish in which good was allowed to succeed and grow.


There was a purpose to bringing good to America’s populace, to bringing the passion of right and wrong, protection of the weak and championing the cause of the suffering into the hearts of men. It was to present half of the choice that would eventually come; the choice between two kingdoms.

The Church has a strategy for this time; she wants to spread good into society again with her programs. She doesn’t see that it was I who put good into the hearts of all men so that good would spread outside of the Church walls. Yet this is a different time that you live in. It is a time when the hand that restrained evil is taken away (2 Thess 2:6). It is a time when the Great Euphrates is drying up (Rev 16:12). Some may think that I want evil to succeed. That is not in My nature. However, satan is setting his table for men to come and taste his evil, just as I have set my table for men to come and taste, to see that I am good (Ps 34:8).

This is the time that deceiving spirits have been loosed (1 Tim 4:1), just as I told men they would be. Hearts that once were filled with passion for right and wrong, to protect and to champion, are being drawn into coldness (Mt 24:12). These are the times when, had I not cut them short, the elect would scarcely be saved (Mt 24:22). Yet the contrast between this evil time and the former time of morality are set next to each other so that the choice for My kingdom will be an honest choice.

This is the time for men to decide whom they will follow. Satan will tempt every believer with the world, for so he did Me. He will tempt them with fortune and fame, and prod them to prove themselves. Today, your enemy’s hand is bared. All he has to offer men is out in the open, and all the deception by which he would woo men is visibly and audible apparent. This is the Valley of Decision (Joel 3:14) for Man Kind, and few recognize the purpose of this time nor the strategy of God.

One day the Valley of Decision will be closed to Man. This is why the Churches must not remain silent. Every time has its purpose, and the time that is coming will be set for men according to the choices they make today. This is an evil time, such as none other before it. It will not grow moral, nor will men spring forth as heroes, until the choice for My kingdom is made. Do not befriend the world; warn them. I have so much better to offer them, but not as their friend. I am coming as a King and Savior. Point them to Me. Do not offer concessions and compromises to gain their acceptance, for in the end you will compromise My truth and be held accountable for their souls.

You do not need to update Christianity so that people of this time will relate to it. If you modernize the gospel and relax its fire, it will not be strong enough to save them from the enemy of their souls. Return to the fire of the Gospel. Love My word with all your heart and keep it written on your mind so that you will not fall prey to the enemy’s lies. Be strong in truth and in the ways of the Lord. Those who see Christ in you and want Him will come to the light they have seen in you. But if your light is dark (Mt 6:23), they will only see you, and not Me. The time is now for the decision for My kingdom. Shine your lights brightly in the darkness, for this is My strategy, manifested in you. “ Amen.
