God's gift

“In all their distress He too was distressed, and the angel of His presence saved them.” Is 63:9


God’s heart is big, and He is acquainted with our sorrows (Is 53:3-4). The Father and His Son are compassionate. Though we often are focused on our failings, God sent His Son to us because He was touched by our human condition, and loved us. As we celebrate Christ’s birth today let us remember that Jesus is the gift from God to us, and He gave Him because He loves us. Merry Christmas.
