The Hardest Faith

The hardest thing you may believe for is that you are who God says you are, without affirmation from men. You can hit a point where you won't go on without it.  You need the assurances from others that God is on your side . . . is with you, even though He speaks this to your heart every day.

Because you wait for men's assurances and receive none, you are left in a state of unbelief, waiting in wrongful  faith for a fellowship of those who would support you.

You look to men for your freedom because their initial opposition put you in this prison of unbelief. How well Jesus knows the resistance of those who affirm and receive each other.  But their iron bars are not stronger than His Father nor the call He appointed to Him.

If all men and women would believe that God has calls on their lives, faith would increase.  But Jesus asks, when He comes on the earth, will He find faith? (Lk 18:8)  For who will bring a sickle into the harvest field if he does not know he is called to hold one?  And if a man does not believe God's words to him, will he plant the seeds of God's words in the hearts of others?
