God is always with us.
He always hears our prayers. Sometimes
our own human spirit poses problems to us, creating scenarios that do not exist
in order to motivate us towards conclusion of our own thinking. But when we
acknowledge that our greatest ability to reason falls short of God’s
intelligence, He is ready to listen to our prayers.
God will place His peace upon our anxious spirit so that we
might hear Him. Though our mind strive,
grasping at personalized understandings, He will always offer His peace as the
greater prize. Then our mind and heart
will be guarded in Him, our Savior.
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:7) Amen.
