Becoming a Bride for Christ

I have friends that serve in very busy ministries.  Today I felt like I was standing still, and they were way ahead of me in serving our Lord.  Here is the Word that I heard from Jesus;

“You assume busy people have their time rightly allotted, and serve Me well.  This is not always so.  There is a process of refinement that takes place on a personal level.  This takes place when you are deferring to another’s preferences. A man or woman can intellectually decide how to serve Mankind for God.  But serving your brother comes from the heart, for it seems less important to set time aside for a person than for God. Serving those around you is a personal refinement and teaches you how to be a wife to your husband, a sister to your siblings, and a mother to your children.  It causes you to walk in love towards those outside Christianity, and in Christianity, how to be a bride to Christ.”

In His parables, Jesus talked about those who were in His kingdom being men and women who gave service and sacrifice towards their fellow Man.  Daily God brings people in need to us.  These are opportunities to serve both Man, and God, and it is not a little thing to God.
